1. Provider and application
Your Learning Path and Jouw Leerweg are operated by HZE Ltd., established in Malta, with D.H.J. Hendriks as CEO. These terms apply when you visit the service, create an account or use an account function.
By using the service, you agree to these terms and the documents linked from them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the service.
2. Current audience and account eligibility
The current pilot is intended for adults, including adult learners and parents or guardians. Independent accounts for children and parent-child account controls are not part of the current version.
You must provide accurate information, keep your login methods and recovery codes secure and notify us if your account may have been compromised. You may not transfer or share an account in a way that undermines security or accountability.
3. Nature of the platform
- The platform is a tool for self-directed learning and home education; it is not a school and does not replace legal, educational, medical or other professional advice.
- Users and parents or guardians remain responsible for complying with the education rules that apply to them.
- Progress indicators, time records, AI output and stored evidence do not automatically prove mastery.
- The current certificate function is an administrative prototype. It is not a legally recognised school diploma or a production-ready independent assessment.
4. Your content and ownership
You retain your rights in learning goals, notes, assignments, results, files and other content you create or upload. You give HZE Ltd. a limited permission to store, process, display and technically reproduce that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service.
You must have the right to upload or publish content. Do not upload unlawful material, malware, confidential data belonging to others or material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy or personality rights.
5. Public forum content
Forum names, topics, replies and explicitly attached forum files are public. Do not publish private learning information or personal information that should remain confidential.
By publishing forum content, you give HZE Ltd. a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, display, moderate and distribute that content as needed to operate the forum. You keep ownership of your content.
6. Acceptable use
- Follow the community guidelines and treat other people respectfully.
- Do not harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate, discriminate against or exploit another person.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, distribute malware or probe the service without written permission.
- Do not use automated access in a way that overloads the service or ignores technical restrictions.
- Do not use the platform for illegal activity, spam, commercial deception or infringement of another person’s rights.
7. AI clients and external services
A user may create a limited API token for an external AI client. You are responsible for choosing that client, reviewing its privacy terms and revoking access when it is no longer needed. AI assistance must not be presented as independent assessment or guaranteed correct output.
The service may link to external websites or use third-party providers such as Stripe or Telegram. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services.
8. Pilot status, availability and changes
The service is under active development. Functions may be incomplete, changed, suspended or removed. We aim to keep the service available and data protected, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Keep your own copy of material that is essential to you. We may perform maintenance, introduce reasonable usage limits and change the service when needed for safety, law, quality or the product direction.
9. Plans and payments
Pricing, checkout and subscription functions are currently prototypes or test-mode functions. A displayed test plan does not by itself create a production paid subscription. Definitive paid services will be subject to the price, billing period, cancellation information and consumer information shown before a real order is placed.
10. Suspension, deletion and moderation
You can stop using the service and request or perform account deletion through the available account controls. We may hide content, restrict functions, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary for security, serious or repeated rule violations, legal compliance or protection of other users.
Where circumstances allow, we will explain a significant moderation or account decision and provide a way to contact us. Data may be retained where required by law or necessary for a dispute or security investigation.
11. Responsibility and liability
You remain responsible for your learning decisions, content, backups and use of external sources. To the extent permitted by law, HZE Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by external providers, or decisions made solely on the basis of platform content.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights and liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other responsibility that applicable law requires.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protection you have under the law of your country of habitual residence.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. A dispute may be submitted to a competent court or dispute body as provided by applicable law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way. Continued use after a change takes effect means the updated terms apply, unless the law requires a separate acceptance.
